How does Les Folies use my e-mail address?

Your e-mail address is used to create and identify your account on Les Folies. Your e-mail address is also used by Les Folies to correspond with you about any orders that you may place or to notify you with the results of any contests you may have entered. We may also use your e-mail address to notify you about important functionality changes to the Web site, new Les Folies services and special offers and promotions we think you'll find valuable. Does Les Folies provide a way to update or remove personal information?

Please send an email to one of the Les Folies girls indicating you wish your information to be removed from our order system. We will complete this and provide you with notice once this has been done. Please be aware that we will need your information to process your order before it is removed.

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of employees who have special access rights. When you place orders we offer the use of a secure server. We store your personal information securely in our Les Folies database. We never store your credit card information.

What is the significance of the number on Sophie’s leg?

In July 2011, Sophie the Giraffe was given a batch number which is located on the back of her leg. This enabling full traceability ( production date and laboratories tests). Each number corresponds to a certified batch test done in a laboratory and confirms its compliance with European and worldwide standards.

How is Sophie the Giraffe made?

Sophie the Giraffe has been handmade in France for 55 years. It requires more than 14 manual operations to create it, which includes hand painting. Each Sophie the Giraffe is unique.

What is Sophie made of?

Sophie is made from 100% natural rubber and high quality alimentary paint witch is safe for your child. Natural latex rubber can deteriorate in the sun or when stored ‘inactive’ for many years.

How do i take care of my Sophie?

The best way to clean Sophie the Giraffe is to lightly wipe with a damp cloth and soapy water. Please do not submerge Sophie as the water  can affect the squeaker. This recommendation is also indicated on the packaging of each product.

Do not put Sophie in a microwave, steam steriliser, dishwasher or in boiling water.
